Baby It's You! Cast Recording on Tap from Verve Records

The original cast recording of the new musical Baby It’s You! will be released on June 14 by Universal Music Group’s Verve label. The show was recorded the week of April 18, produced by the legendary Richard Perry (a frequent collaborator of Rod Stewart) and associate produced by veteran Broadway musical director Rahn Coleman.

Inspired by the true story of pioneering music producer Florence Greenberg, Baby It’s You features classic hits such as “Dedicated to the One I Love,” “Soldier Boy,” “Duke of Earl,” “He’s So Fine,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “It’s My Party,” “Louie Louie,” “Mama Said,” “Shout,” “Tonight’s The Night,” “I Met Him on a Sunday,” “Rockin’ Robin” and “Twist and Shout.” The Broadway production opens on April 27 at the Broadhurst Theatre, co-directed by Floyd Mutrux and Sheldon Epps, with musical supervision and arrangements by Rahn Coleman, orchestrations by Don Sebesky and musical direction by Shelton Becton.

Baby It’s You! stars Tony Award winner Beth Leavel as Florence Greenberg, Allan Louis, Geno Henderson, Erica Ash, Kelli Barrett, Kyra Da Costa, Erica Dorfler, Jahi A. Kearse, Barry Pearl, Christina Sajous, Crystal Starr and Brandon Uranowitz.
